Dream, believe and make it happen, it is one of my favorite quotes. I came from a low
economic family but I have to say that I have a big dream to change my life and my
family. As my parents dont have enough money to send me to a university, I started to
look for a scholarships since I was in my high school but there was not any miracle
happened to me until I found CCIP at the end 2012 in a blog written by a CCIP alumnae. I
applied and went through all the process that was so competitive in my country. I was so
excited when I got the final announcement email from AMINEF that I got selected to
participate in this amazing scholarship program.
Its been an amazing experience living and study abroad at the center of the world. Its
also been a big challenge to adapt with an international college and social environment.
But Im grateful for given this wonderful opportunity. Accounting and Budgeting are my
field of study, even though Ive never studied these majors before but all my professors
were really good in every classes I took. One of my favorite courses was Microcomputer
Accounting with QuickBooks.
One last thing that I would like to highlight from this amazing scholarship is Community
Service (Volunteer) program. It helped me built my social responsibility and understand
that as we came from the society we also have to give back to the community, make it a
better place. Even helping out with smallest tasks can make a real difference to lives of
others, or organization in need.
I want to thank for US Government especially US Department of state, Dr. Syedur
Rahman and my beautiful Program Coordinator Margaret. Thanks for this amazing
opportunity and all your supports. Lastly for all the US tax payers, your contributions has
made this program established and bring students like me to have amazing experience
in the states. Together we change the world!!
