Languages Installation

Copy the language from the language folder in the dump.


(Note: You can also download the languages from SAP Service Marketplace.
It will be in the .CAR or .SAR format. Copy them in the \usr\sap\trans folder and uncar
them using the command :sapcar xvf <filename.CAR>
OR
sapcar xvf <filename.SAR>
This way the .ATT and .PAT files will be available in \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in folder.)
Copy the .ATT and .PAT files and paste them into the \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in

Now logon to the development system with client 000 and user like DDIC but not DDIC.
Go to transaction I18N

Double click on I18N System Configuration.

Click on

Now click on activate

Click on Yes.

Now copy the new value mentioned(here in the above picture it is Ed)(This value is case
sensitive).
Open a new session and Go to RZ10
Select instance profile parameter, Edit profile in extended maintenance and click on
change

Click on
Enter Parameter name = zcsa/installed_languages
Parameter value = Ed

Now click on

Go back

twice

Click on Yes.

Again click on save

Click on Yes.

Click on ok

Click on ok
Now shutdown the SAP MMC and restart it again. The changes we made in the profile
parameter will be effective only when we restart the SAP MMC.
After restarting SAP MMC, login again to the same client with same user.
Go to transaction SMLT

Click on create language

Click on save

Click on Yes.

Click on ok

Now click on the following icon


This will import the package.

In the path, enter the \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in folder path

Now click on

Now select the package which is shown above and click on

Click on Yes.

Click on ok
Go back

You can check in STMS the tp is running.

Also it can be checked in the \usr\sap\trans\tmp folder that the tp is running


When the transport requests are successfully imported it will show the status as show
below :-

And now go to SMLT and the package must be successfully imported as shown below.
