    Vietnamese architects Sanuki + Nishizawa designed the ANH House in Ho Chi Minh City as a modern adaptation of a traditional Vietnamese tube house. The narrow four-story residence is typical of tube houses at 21 meters deep but only four meters wide. To address the lack of natural light and ventilation in tube houses, the architects incorporated light wells, open staircases, and flexible partitions. This allowed daylight to penetrate the walls and floors while maintaining privacy between spaces.
