Server Shutdown Process

Hp New Server (PMCSERVER)

1. Step 1: Press Window Key + C {for the Charms menu}

2. Step 2: Press Settings button on the popup menu

3. Step 3: Press the Power button on the popup menu

4. Step 4: Press the Shutdown Button

5. Step 5: Select Hardware Maintenance (Planned) option

6. Step 6: Select Continue option, now the server starts to shut down.

7. Step 7: After the server shuts down, press the KVM Switch (wrapped in white

paper) next to the mouse for swapping to shut down next server.

Wipro Old Server (PMECHSERVER)

8. Step 8: After pressing the KVM switch, the below screen will be displayed. Now

select the start menu.

9. Step 9: Select the shut down option.

10. Step 10: On the below screen select the shut down option.

11. Step 11: In the options menu select Hardware maintenance (Planned) and then
press OK. The server will start to shut down.

12. Step 12: After the server has shut down, power-off the two red switches located
behind the server rack. With this server shut down procedure completes.

13. Step 13: Dont touch any switch on main power board located on wall.
