THE DEFINITION OF MONOPHYSITISM

Monophysitism is the belief that God and jesus are not the
same being as stated in the trinity

These people rejected the Counsel of Chalcedon

In other words they say jesus has one divine and one physical
body

HERESY IDEAS
In other words they say Jesus has one divine and one physical
body

Jesuss body as both human and divine in one being not 2

And we know that jesus god and the holy spirit are one being
in 3 aspects they believe that jesus and god are 2 different
people and the holy spirit is in both of them

SAINTS THAT FOUGHT AGAINST THEM

Saint peter Chrysologus fought mostly against this heresy
His nickname was peter the golden-worded
He was called this because he was extremely good at talking
about the gospel

THE HERESY CONCLUDES

The Heresy was not defeated and Lives today in the
Orthientel church

Their leader is the bishop of the Coptic church and holds their
title as pope
