FACTS AND FIGURES OF PASUC

PASUC stands Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges.

There are 102 SUCs all of which are under the Commision on Higher
Education Philippines(CHED).
First formed on 1967.
Current president is Dr. Ricardo E. Rotoras of Mindanao University of Science
and Technology
Other officers Serafin Ngohayon, PASUC Auditor; Dr. Olympio Caparas, TUP
President and VP for NCR; Dr. Miriam Pascua, VP for Luzon.
Recent Theme for general assembly: Responding to SUCs Challenges for
Global Competitiveness
Synergy and dynamism through vigorous deliberations and consensus in
effectively confronting global and local issues towards achieving excellence in
Philippine higher education.
