FROM THE GYM:

As we bring the year to an end we are finishing up our fitness
testing. The scores are how we teach the kids to set personal
goals, keep track of personal records, and compare their level of
fitness to national norms. If I have any concerns with these I will
explain them on the report cards.
4th and 5th grades will be participating in the district wide field
day June 7th. If it is raining on June 7th then the field day will
take place on June 8th. Students who are bringing their own
lunch for field day should bring it to school with them in the
morning. It gets extremely busy and confusing if parents try to
bring lunches to the stadium, so we ask that all lunches be
brought to school in the morning. Thank you for your help with
this!
Id like to mention again that Ive been using Facebook
instead of a blog to communicate which days that each class has
gym, as well as sharing any important documents. I will no
longer be using my blog as the Facebook page has proven easier
to access for busy Park families. So, if you havent yet, please
check it out https://facebook.com/HPSParkPE/ Thanks!

End of the Year BBQ!

Dear Parents,
Thank you to those of you who were able to
volunteer to help out with our End of the Year
BBQ! Just a quick reminder that our last day,
June 10, will be a 1pm dismissal. Each class
will spend time in their classroom doing
activities as well as some time outside
participating in end of the year team building
events. We will be having an all school BBQ
from 11:30-12:30pm on the playground before
releasing students at 1pm. Thank you, again, to
our wonderful Parents Club for their support by
providing the food for this exciting end of the
year event!
Report Card and 2016-17 Class lists
As this year closes out, we already are excited
and planning toward our 2016-17 school year!
Your childs report card will be mailed out on
Friday, June 17th, so expect for it to arrive at
your house around Monday (20th) and Tuesday
(21st). We also will not be posting classlists on
the front windows this year. Instead we will be
posting classlists on our Park Blog. We will be
sending out an email on Friday, June 17th with
a direct link to the classlists.
Have a great weekend!

Brian Field

Have a great end of the year and a healthy summer!

Over the Counter and Prescription Medicine:

Its that time again! We have lots and lots of medicine that needs to be picked up by the end of the school year! We cannot allow the student to
take it home. An adult must pick it up. The Ottawa County Health Department requires that we must dispose of all left over medicine at the end
of the school year. We cannot keep it over the summer. So please pick up your students inhalers, meds. and pain relievers by June 10. Thanks!
