1) The document outlines emergency procedures for isolating fuels to heaters in the event of a total power failure, including closing various isolation valves for fuel oil, fuel gas, pilot gas, and ejector off gases.
2) It describes slowly closing steam valves to the ejectors in stages to control pressure and avoid pressure safety valve activation, as well as adjusting downstream isolation valves to control valves.
3) Finally, it mentions backing up fuel gas and pressurizing columns if vacuum remains low after closing ejector steam valves, and that revised startup/shutdown procedures will be released soon.

Operators have discussed this & have understood and there is no different approach to emergency MA Baliga
The following procedure to be
followed to Isolate the fuels to heater in case of Total power failure with normal shut down procedure.
Close the Fuel oil Supply and Return Isolation Valves
at the skid for all the Heaters. Close the FG isolation Valves near to the each Skid. Close the Pilot Gas Isolation Valves near to each Skid. Close the Individual Isolation valves of Ejector off gases to the Crude Heaters near to the burner. Close the Fuel Gas, Pilot Gas,Fuel oil individual burner Isolation valves near to the burners. Flush Fuel oil burner lines with cross over steam . Isolation of HP Steam to the ejectors and Breaking Vacuum. Bring down the Steam pressure to 16 .0 Kg/cm2. Control the steam temperature at 240 Deg C. Slowly close the Steam to the First Ejector(J01B) . The last three threads to be closed very slowly so that panel operator can control the pressure and avoid the PSV popping. Slowly Close the Second stage Ejector (J02 B/A)steam valves one by one.
Throttle the down stream Isolation Valves of PIC061
toget the control valve in range. The above operation to be done for BFW control valve also. Open the drains in the down stream of the control valve. Slowly close the Third stage Ejector steam valves (J03 B/A) and Close the Control valve down stream isolation valves simultaneously to avoid the pressurisation of the Control valve down stream due to passing of the control valve (As all the Ejector steam valves are closed). If the Vacuum is still low back up the FG and pressure the column to 0.2 Kg/cm2(g). The revised detailed Startup /Shut down procedures and SOP will be released shortly (Operating Manual being reviewed). Regards Swamy
