Materials:
Guest Speaker
Procedures:
Invite a guest speaker from a local industry or business to discuss the importance of being at work each
day. After the visit, ask students to discuss the importance of good attendance and the role attendance
plays in a company.
Process Data:

4 6th grade students will participate in this activity throughout the whole school year. Process data will
be measured by the number of students who show up to see the guest speaker
Perception Data:
Pre and Post test will be administered
Outcome Data:
75% of students will be able to decrease the number of absences
75% of students will be able to understand the importance of attending school
Follow Up:
We will follow up with students with a survey about the guest speaker
