Layout
The final adopted geometry will comply with design recommendations for Multi-Storey and Underground
Car Parks (4th Edition) published by the Institution of Structural Engineers and will provide parking bay

Structural Frame
The deck will be constructed from a precast concrete frame, based on a 7.8m by 8m structural grid.
Precast planks will be supported on precast beams tied to precast columns through an in-situ concrete
topping. The structure will be stabilised through shear walls at the stair cores.

Crash Barrier
The perimeter shall be protected by a galvanised spring steel crash barrier manufactured by Berry Systems
(or similar). The crash barrier will be designed to resist the loads set out in BS6399 part 1. Balustrading shall be
