In the village center of Bennekom a woman has tried to set herself on fire

with an inflammable liquid. Many people witnessed what was happening

while bystanders tried to extinguish the fire with water bottles. The woman
has been transported to the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk, which is known
for its high expertise regarding the treatment of people being burned. She
was transported by helicopter. Police stated she was extremely confused.
