On Friday, June 3, 2016 Jackson Police Officers responded to 138 McClure Rd. regarding a
shooting. Upon officers arrival it was learned that a victim, later identified as Wardell Green
had been shot in the foot during an altercation with his brother, Orlando Coleman. He was
transported to Merit Health for medical treatment. He is in stable condition. Coleman fled the
scene on foot prior to officers arrival.
Robbery/Homicide Detectives have conducted a follow-up investigation. Orlando Coleman has
been identified as the suspect responsible for this incident. He is currently wanted for one count
of Aggravated Assault.
