Sports are good for children of all ages. It may be
enjoyable for children to enhance their physical activity if they take part in organised sports and games. However, the sports activities should be appropriate for the children. If they are engaged in such sports which are not according to their developmental abilities, they can lead to disappointment. Even they can lead to early dropout. As a matter of fact, children and sports are closely related to each other. They cant remain away from sports activities whatever the circumstances are. In fact they have innate tendency to take part in sports. The most important thing is that childrens motor development should be according to the requirement of sports. It is essential to determine whether or not the objectives have been achieved. For example, if you want to improve your cardio- respiratory fitness, you will have to participate in fitness programme. After certain period, if you do not measure and evaluate your cardiorespiratory fitness, you may reamin in dark.
