About the project

The main aim of the youth exchange Artify the Frames is to
redefinate the concept of freedom, and to overcome personal and
social limits through art. Various workshpos, activities and creating
art itself will bring us to the main goals of project, which are to raise
up and discuss questions about freedom and limits of freedom, to
strengthen European cizitenships and identity; to increase
undestanding of intercultural context among participants and to
promote creativity of young people. Because of the NGO's unique
location (near Schengen border), we will also criticaly disccus and
connect the project to the refugee crisis.
Art and projects products are going to be shown at the final event
Art Camp, which will also be the main outcome of the project and
which will educate the participants, local and wider community about
the role of European Union, our common space and meaning of
freedom and different limits of freedom for the future of the union.

Traveling for the project

The village of etale is located in south-east of Slovenia near the city Ptuj and Maribor.
Regarding all of the travelling informration below, please check for the cheapest travel option from
your city and contact TD etale Project Team (td.zetale@gmail.com) for route and price approval.
The route you propose should be one to reach eather the city of Ptuj or Maribor.
The Project Team will arrange your transportation betwen Ptuj or Maribor and etale.

Reimbursement of travel costs

Travel costs are reimbursed 100% if the sum doesn't exceed the Erasmus+ limit for your country.
Travel costs that are incurred outside the project dates will only be reimbursed when booked with
the pre-booking approval of the TD etale Project team.

Preparation
The weather in Slovenia in August is very warm so bring summer clothing with you, but make sure
you also have some long trousers and a jacket in the case of a chilly weather. Bring also some sports
clothes and sport sneakers.
It is essential that participants bring sleeping bags with them.
We will also have national evenings, so please bring some of your traditional cuisine.

Accomodation
Participants will be accomodated in a local school, where most of the project's activities are going to
take place.
Please bear in mind:
1. Sharing rooms: You will be sharing a room with another person of the same sex in mixed
national groups.
2. Staying in Slovenia: Please note that TD etale will not provide any additional
accommodation for your stay in Slovenia outside of the project date. For those arriving
before and/or staying the project activity, it is your own responsibility to arrange
accommodation for these dates.

3. Wifi: There will be available WI-FI.

4. Slippers: To ensure for the place to stay clean, please bring some slippers with you.

Health and travel insurance

Health and travel insurance will not be provided or reimbursed by the organisers.
We reccomend that you bring the European Health Card.

How to apply
Participants have to be 18-25 years old. The exceptions are group leaders, who can be older, but not
younger.
We need 5 participants from each country (4 + 1 group leader).
We wish that participants are somehow connected to art. Either it is their hobby or profession.
