Favorite Artists

By: Angela, Lea, Steph, Jen, and Sarah

Introduction
The objective of this project was to find out which artists are favored among our class.
By having a liking towards music today kids are enabled to express themselves from
the people they prefer to listen to.

Research Question
Who is the most liked artist in our B3 math class?

HypothesisIf J.Cole gets 5 votes, than the classes favorite artist is J.Cole
because he got the most votes.

Methods
We individually asked everyone in the class who their favorite
artist, of the ones listed, was their favorite. We then tallied all of
the results and made a graph with our results.

Results
A) A dot plot fits our data best
because it is comparing a number
of students and a certain artist. We
were comparing the number of
votes.
B) There are no outliers because the
limit is -3.5 and 8.5. None of these
votes exceed these numbers.

Our Community
Next time, our group should have better time management to make sure everything is
done correctly.

In the future we could research favorite albums or songs, if we would continue to focus
on music.

In order to fix the problem we should have organized our time better in and out of
class so this would have been finished earlier.

Reflection
Our group got our information fast, which was one of our strengths.

Next time we should divide the work evenly between everyone in the group.

We learned that music is very popular nowadays and that our results were spread out
well.
