POLICIES ON DEFAULTERS
1. Using the immunization register: At noon each day, review the immunization register to
identify clients who may have failed to receive due doses of vaccines.
2. Clients who are found to have not yet received the due vaccine dose, call or send a
message to clients contact number (Solicited during initial visit and recorded in ITR/
immunization register) to remind client about due vaccine dose/s.
3. If client does not have contact number or if cannot be contacted, coordinate with BHW
and Barangay Captain to inform/convince client to receive the due vaccine dose.
4. DELAY IN DAY 3 DOSE:
If delay is 1-2 days from day 3 schedule give day 3 dose upon visit and follow
the original schedule of day 7 and 28/30.
If delay is 3-4 days from day 3 schedule give day 3 dose upon visit, adjust
succeeding doses (day 7 and day 28/30) according to the prescribed interval.
If delay is >4 days from day 3 schedule restart a new course.
5. DELAY IN DAY 7 DOSE:
If delay is 5-7 days from day 7 schedule give day 7 does upon visit, give 28/30
dose as originally scheduled.
If delay is >7-14 days from day 7 schedule repeat day 3 dose and revise
according to the prescribed interval.
If delay is >14 dayas from day 7 schedule restart a new course.
6. DELAY IN DAY 28/30 DOSE:

Give day 28/30 upon visit; this may be considered as a booster.


If RIG has already been administered, it should not be given again.
