Journal:
These past two weeks have been very productive in focusing the
direction of my research paper. My meeting with Ms. Sasser was very
helpful in helping me organize my thoughts and the research I have
already conducted. I was feeling a little lost and could not see a
cohesive paper myself, so it was extremely helpful in focusing my
research, as well as making me feel more at ease. I was then able to
construct a semi usable thesis that I presented to my thesis board
where I received some good constructive criticism. It was mostly
related to the hole in my control on adolescent development, so now I
know exactly what needs more evidence behind it. I also had a little
mix up with calendars related to setting up an interview with my
advisor, but it was resolved and has been rescheduled with little hassle
thankfully. I am feeling really good about my project right now and I am
really excited to start applying it to the green school initiative.
