    KudostoBrockforsecuringthe$55/65kdonation.Ourbudgetissolowthatitgivesusseveralgoodmonthsof
    operatingcapital.Wehavebeenconsideringsomegrantstocoredevelopersbuthavefoundthatintalkingwith
    them,theymaynotwantit,forpoliticalreasons.Theresearchgrantproposalisalsobeingviewedasanegative
    frombothcoreandnoncorepeople.Werestillinatightfinancialposition.

    BrucesentalloftheCoreDevelopersanemailofferingwaythefoundationcouldhelporcooperatewithcore,one
    ofthedevelopersleakedtheemail.Thisisnothorribleandthereisnothingparticularlydamagingintheletter,
    otherthanthatitwasn'twritteninastyledesignedforthepublic,andthatthisisnotefficientfortheprocessandit
    alsodiscusseditemsthatarenotfinalizedorintheearlysuggestionstage.

    Budgetupdate/Funding

    Brucewouldliketoopenadiscussionregardingfuturestaffing,possiblyhiringacoEDetc.Brucedoesntfeelthat
    heisabletoworkeffectivelyasEDalonegiventimecommitmentsandthevariouschallengesweface.InBruces
    opinion,theoptionsareforthefoundationtoraisefundsforafulltimepaidstaffmember,tofindsomeonetoserve
    ascoED,ortofindareplacementforBruce.BrucefeelsthathecanonlystayonasastandaloneEDfortwomore
    months.Bruceisnotprovidingofficialnoticerightnowandwouldliketoworkwiththeboardtodeterminea
    solution.ElizabeththankedBruceforworkingasavolunteerintherole.

    JohnC,aka"BitcoinErrorLog"hasvolunteeredtoworkonthefoundationwebsiteandcommunicationsand,with
    othershavesuggestedarebranding

    FrancisfeelsthatweshouldhavesomeintrospectionastowhatwebringtoBitcoinasacommunity.Whatdowe
