Hypothesizing/Experimenting

Growth Mindset
Finding Patterns
I can illustrate your work with similarity because...

Hypothesizing/Experimenting
Starting this off I was sorta confused and had a
different way of approaching this problem, I feel
like I always do. Going forward I learned more how
to work the problem and it became easier and
easier then a huge curve came but I caught on
really quick.

Explaining/Justifying
This handout really helped out explaining to me,
how to work this because instead of visuals
explaining it helps our once in awhile. Sometimes
explaining things for me are hard

Collaborating
I really like working in my group and listening to
others opinions also when we share out to the
class. Collaborating is one of my strengths in math
class with my group because I always have a
different or similar way to work it and share out to
people and also I love math and it usually comes
easier to me to learn than other subjects.

Questioning
There was a time where my group agreed and
disagreed at the same time on an equation if it was
worded differently and or didnt have specific
lengths. Also its good to ask questions just for
people to clarify and share their thinking and what
they did.

Growth Mindset
I know I extended my thinking during this,
because I was so confused during this at the
beginning and partly forgot about how to use the
protractor. Working on angles and measurements
was really fun and I often felt insecure on the
inside when people would have different answers
than me I would keep checking my work and
Mr.Carter explained how were eyeballing the
measurements and we make human mistakes.

Finding Patterns
We worked on similarity a lot and I got the hang of
it and later on found a lot of different patters to
work with certain equations. Finding patterns for
similarity took me a while than like probability. I
really enjoyed finding the patterns and working to
solve the problem quicker.
