for Ms. Makayla Centeno-Garcia. Over the past year I have observed Makayla mature
into a hard- working, responsible young woman.
As Makaylas 9th grade Biology teacher, Ive had the opportunity to observe her in both
academic and social settings. One thing I can definitely say about her is that she
isindustrious. She takes great pride in being a hard-working and responsible student.
Although Makayla struggles at times, her determination never wavers. Her effort is
greatly appreciated and serves as a role model for her fellow classmates.
I would like to see Makayla become more goal oriented as she proceeds through high
school. This is imperative if she is to transition from a good student to an excellent
student.
