Course Description
Course Duration
The duration is 4 days.
Course Type
This is an instructor led course with interactive
classroom discussions and associated lab exercises.
Approximately 50% of the course is hands-on lab
activities.
Course Goal
The goal of this course is to engineer a DigiVis 500
system and to become familiar with operation,
configuration and commissioning tasks.
Student Profile
This training is targeted to AC 500 users and
system integrators who need to get an overview
about the DigiVis 500 system capabilities.
Prerequisites and Recommendations
Students shall know the fundamentals of working
with PLC systems. They shall be capable on
setting up an OPC Data Access and Alarm & Event
Server to provide data to an OPC Client system.
Students shall have basic knowledge of IEC
61131-3 programming and of working with
Microsoft Windows XP.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will be

500 system with a AC 500 PLC controller
