Procedures:
1. Use the serrated knife to cut a straight slice across one pointed end of the
watermelon so that it sits level on your workspace.
2. Draw a straight line around the watermelon several inches from the level
bottom with the pencil. Draw the peacocks head and neck onto the front
of the watermelon; the top of the head should be near the middle of the
watermelon with the neck reaching the straight line you drew. Draw a tail
base near the top of the back of the watermelon in a scalloped pattern,
connecting it with the straight line at the bottom. This is where you will
place the fruit feathers later.
3. Cut around the penciled sections using a paring knife. Carefully remove
the cut-off pieces of watermelon rind.
4. Use a spoon to remove the inside of the watermelon one ball at a time.
Save the melon balls in a bowl to use later.
5. Set the watermelon aside. Place the other fruits on a bamboo sticks,
alternating one kiwi slice, one strawberry, one grape and one Cherry and
one pineapple slice. Leave 3 inches at the bottom of the bamboo sticks
open. Repeat the process with each skewer.
6. Place the bamboo sticks into the tail base at the back of the watermelon
into create the peacocks feathers.

7. Place the watermelon balls back into the scooped-out portion of the water
melon peacock to a plate.
