    Dear Friends and Members of SoonerCon,
    NAMI OKC Metro, Inc. wishes to express our sincere appreciation for being
    designated as the Charity for SoonerCon 25. As the recipient of funds raised in
    2014 and 2015, we are honored to partner once again with your enthusiastic
    leaders and we are inspired by your generosity. It is a vote of confidence in our
    mission and our efforts to reduce stigma against mental illness, and to be effective
    advocates for others in our community, who are affected by Brain Disorders.
    Since our original charter, our Affiliate changed its name from Concerned Citizens
    for Mental Health to NAMI OKC Metro when the National Alliance on Mental
    Illness was formed in 1979. As the first Affiliate in the state of Oklahoma, we are
    proud to serve the community and to ally with other organizations, such as yours,
    which are built by volunteers, committed to changing lives.
    We look forward to the exciting activities planned for SoonerCon 25 and invite you
    all to join us at our monthly meetings and special events throughout the year.
