The chart illustrates the employment percentage between 1995-2005 in 6 different

countries ( Australia, Switzerland, Iceland, UK, New Zealand and USA, both for male
and female. The units are measured in percentages.
Overall, we can notice that Iceland has the highest employment rate, compared
with Australia which has the lowest employment rate, for the given years. In
Australia and New Zealand there are noticeable the smallest employment
percentages, both in 1995 and 2005. The peaks of employment proportion are clear
to see in Switzerland and Iceland .
Firstly, Iceland present the biggest proportion of employment, with a rate of around
85% for males in 2005 compared with New Zealand which had the smallest rate for
females in 1995 (around 25%). In terms of total employment rate, Iceland and
Switzerland are situated on the first places for all categories. Males in 1995 had a
rate of employment of around 70% respectively 75% and in the year of 2005, they
had a proportion of around 85%, respectively around 80 %. On the other hand,
females are being associated with a lower employment rate, most obvious in New
Zealand and Australia. In 1995, females had an employment rate of around 25%,
respectively almost 30 %. For the year of 2005, female subjects are correlated with
a rate around 40% for both New Zealand and Australia.
Secondly, there is easy to see that UK and USA have similar employment
proportions for the specified years. In 1995 and 2005, males had a rate of about
55% and around 70% for Uk and 60% and about 70% for USA. Females on the other
hand presented a percentage of 50% and 65%, respectively 45% and around 60%.
