Thomas did not believe Jesus had risen from the dead because he was deeply wounded after seeing Jesus suffer and die on the cross. The risen Christ is identified by his wounds, reflecting our own wounds of fear, doubt, suffering, and trials. Our spiritual journey is blessed when we embrace our wounds and doubts, offering them to God, like Thomas did. There is no other way to experience the risen Lord than through embracing the way of the wounded Christ and trusting that God will sustain us with grace through our doubts and fears on the spiritual journey.

Sunday. Thomas did not believe Jesus was resurrected not because he did not love Jesus. He did experience Jesus in his daily contacts with his teaching s and miracles. But, nagkarooon ng sugat si Tomas noong makita niyang naghihirap si Hesus hanggang mamatay ito sa krus. Sobrang siyang nasaktan. Thomas has wounded and he could find no God to take away his pain. The Risen Christ is identified with his wounds, Christ has wounds. To see Christ is to see his woundedness reflected in our woundedness, in our fears and doubts, in our sufferings and trials. It is to embrace in our vulnerabilities and look at them with eyes of faith in the Risen Christ that we will experience God from the depths of our heart Christ has wounds, indeed the Risen Christ has wounds, our spiritual journey will become a blessing when we embrace our doubts, our trials, and our wounds, like Thomas. It is only in our emptiness, in our helplessness, in our experience in deep humanity, deep pain, that we pray and proclaim that truly Christ is our Lord and God. We have to offer our wounds, our sacred wounds in our hearts to God. Pope Francis, our beloved Pope once said when we walk Christ without the cross, when we build without the cross and when we professed a Christ without a cross, we arent disciples of him. You my friends there is no other way to experience God, the Risen Lord, than the way of the cross, the way of the wounded Christ. Our wounded savior is inviting today to look our wounds, our crosses, to take a long loving look at them to look at them in view of resurrection,we have to trust God, we have to trust our wounded Lord that he will sustain us with his grace. Although, sometimes in our spiritual journey, the ways of doubts and fears hovers us. But let us not be afraid, we must courage for the scripture says, Gods grace is enough, always enough, more than enoughthus, never loose hope in Gods mercy.
