CAREER RESEARCH ASSIGNMENT GUIDE


STEP 1:
Planning 10 Career research project

1)

Go to www.careercruising.com
Username: Tweedsmuir
Password: Careers

2)

From the button bar at the top of the page, select PLAN then CREATE A
NEW PLAN enter in the required information then click on CREATE PLAN.

3)

From the button bar at the top of the page select MATCHMAKER to begin
questions. You will be asked your name again then click START A NEW
CAREER MATCHMAKER SESSION.

Begin to answer the questions, there are 4 groups of questions. Group 1 is 39


questions, Group 2 is 55 questions, Group 3 is out of 7 questions, Group 4 is
out of 15 questions. After each group of questions, click SAVE TO MY PLAN
then click GO TO CAREER MATCH MAKER then click ANSWER MORE
QUESTIONS TO IMPROVE MY RESULTS.

When there are no more questions to answer PRINT AND KEEP your final
list of 40 careers.

Go to the know yourself section and take ALL the self-assessment quizzes. It is
important to do all the quizzes to get a full picture of your interests and a more
accurate assessment of your interests.
