Provide right leadership and administration for the project related activities
2. Contractor Induction trainings/Tool Box meetings/participate in project review meetings
3. Walk the site on a regular basis to establish HSEQ presence and provide support.
4. Strictly follow and implement Total's Golden rules.
5. Implement, and manage TOIPL HSEQ Programs, Policies and Procedures.
6. Develop Inspections &Audit Plan in mutual consultation with TOIPL & Perform facility HSEQ Audits
& Inspections as directed by TOIPL- maintain the records and take corrective & preventative actions
7. Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE- ensure correct
administration of PPE
8. Strict compliance to HSE regulations, correct maintenance of all required safety equipment,
encourages safe working practices, corrects hazards immediately or reports them to TOIPL Plant
Manager.
9. Have good knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements (OSHA etc.), including
TOTAL company HSE policies and procedures & local/national regulations related to HSEQ
10. Assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment.
11. Conduct daily and monthly HSE Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed and maintain
records
12. Maintaining compliance programs such as Induction programs, tool box meetings, Prevention
Plan, all types of work permits, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) , Hazard Communication, etc.
13. Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary
14. But not limited to - Perform other HSE work related tasks as required and assigned by TOIPL
management from time to time
15. Review of body camera footage on a daily basis, identify any shortcoming/deviation, document
and take necessary corrective action including carrying out training/tool box talks
16. Carrying out regular housekeeping inspection for various contractors and maintain necessary
checklist/records as directed by TOIPL,
10. Mobilize contractor teams for all trainings and other HSEQ related programs as communicated
by TOIPL
11. Ensure all changes are brought to immediate notice of Site HSEQ Manager/ Project Manager.
12. To be trained in First aid and basic Firefighting. To take necessary actions during emergency
situations
13. Be an active part of Mock drills and provide support in preparing the report.
14. Provide all necessary data for reports as required by TOIPL from time to time.
15. Report atleast one Near Miss/ Deviation for every 150 Mandays of work by contractor. Same to
be tracked for closure.
16. Track actions from the Action plans for implementation in respective area.
17. Wear body cameras during site visits / at site and capture the activities. The footage to be
downloaded on a hard disk and reviewed.
18. But not limited to - Perform other HSE work related tasks as required and assigned by TOIPL
management from time to time

Job Description
Activities:
Coordination of all activities being part of the HSE engineering scope of work for the execution of a
project / offer, including (but not limitedly to):
Participation to meetings held at the headquarters of "the Client" or elsewhere, for data
collection, for the coordination of activities, etc.
Preparation of detailed schedule of all the activities within the scope of work
Knowledge/Skills requested:
Technological risk analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, Consequence analysis, Hazardous Area
Classification, etc)
Preparation of materials requisition for risk studies, technical alignment and tabulation of the
offers
Leads HSE communications and serves as the first point of contact for all Corporate
communications.
Assists with site visits, audits and hazard/risk assessments as required; change existing, or
develop new recommendations from these assessments.
Serve as the Division expert for internal and external clients for systems / processes listed
above.
Assist as needed in investigations of project incidents (Recordable Incidents, Near Miss, First
Aid, etc.) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Companys Policies & Procedures and
any applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing
work, addressing complaints and resolving issues.
This is an entry level professional position that serves as a resource for line management to
develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illnesses
Provides technical assistance to office and field operations to ensure compliance with
applicable international, federal, state, customer and/or company environmental, safety, and
health regulations
Keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization
Recommends facilities and technological specifications to carry out programs that fulfil the
organization's overall objectives
Internal contacts may include site management, risk management personnel, and include
business line leads, Health and Safety personnel and office managers
Under direct supervision, the individual performs basic and routine duties following welldefined environmental safety and health policies and procedures
Monitor the assigned construction scope to ensure Amec Foster Wheeler and Contractors
perform all work to agreed standards for safety, health and environment and demonstrate a
commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance
Participate in and advise on all HSE activities and initiatives, including provision of training /
inductions, documentation reviews, HSE reporting and investigation, audits, etc.
To manage and coordinate the overall Safety / Environmental design of the project
To ensure that it meets client's technical and engineering specifications as well as all relevant
statutory obligations
Establish and communicate to the rest of the project team the applicable legislation, codes and
standards to be complied with
To supervise, direct and control the environmental engineering, noise control, reliability, fire
protection, HVAC and Safety functions including the preparation of associated philosophies,
reports, specifications, drawings and data sheets
To establish the design bases and philosophies for safety, fire and explosion protection, fire
detection, heating and ventilation systems and to coordinate / monitor work related to these
functions developed by piping, instruments, architects and structural disciplines
To be familiar with all relevant Departmental Procedures and ensure that any deviations from
these procedures, and discussed with the manager of Safety / Environmental Engineering
Control of the team to ensure adherence to programme and man-hour control requirements
Liaison requirements to be met for other disciplines, coordination team and client
Attend regular design review meetings with Project Engineers and Lead Engineers and to
ensure that safety aspects are properly coordinated and understood by all members of the project
team
