Causes of the Civil War: Timeline

Project
During this project you will work in groups of 2 or 3 to create a
timeline demonstrating the causes of civil war.
Project Requirements:
Events on your timeline must include the following:
- Summarize each event
- Explain the significance/impact
- Full descriptions should have a minimum of five sentences!
Examples of what to include in a good summary
Who does the event involve? Why did the event take place?
What took place in the event?How did this event impact history?
Where did the event take place?
Picture for each event. Pictures must relate to the event.
(You do not need website links for images in your project)
Primary Resource:
Remember a primary resource is an original document. Primary
Resources demonstrate historical evidence. Your textbook, notes,
history channel most websites are NOT primary resources.
You need to include the link from the primary resource and describe it.
Example: Google Missouri Compromise primary resource
Then click on the first link

(This website is not a primary resource)
Then read through the website and and click on the links to each
primary resource. You only need to pick ONE to add to your project

you click refresh each group member

Saving and Sharing

Important Reminders
Create one account together. Then
you will need to create two
separate storyboards. Each will
need 6 boxes.
Sharing the project
After creating your storyboard,
SAVE to your account. Then click
download image and your
cartoon will be sent to your email.
Make sure you include both
storyboards.

Stay in Edit mode while


creating/editing
To save and share, change status to
Public Copy URL or click embed
and highlight and copy Direct Link
