    Anothermessagethatwetriedtosendwasthatadultsarenttheonlydemographicthat
    canhavementalillnesses.Childrenandteensarejustaslikelytogetamentaldisorder
    andIbelievethat,thatisamessagethatneedstobeheardmoreoften.Thesetwo
    messagesarealsothetwotopicsthatinterestedmethemost.Ibelievethatthey
    interestedmethemostbecausethosearethewellknownstigmasthateverybodyhears
    basicallyonadailybasis.Thisclassmademethinkofhowmanypeopleactuallyhave
    amentalillness.Oneinfivepeoplearediagnosedwithamentalillness,thereisfive
    peopleinmyfamilysothatmeansstatistically,oneofuswillbediagnosed.Thisclass
    persuadedmeintotakingaPsychologyclassinthespringatCCRIforcollegecredit,
    thereforeyoucansaythisclasshassparkedaninterestinmentalhealth.Inthefuture
    theremanyactivitiesthatIcoulddotospreadawarenesssurroundingmentalhealth.I
    couldorganizeafundraiserormoresimply,justtalkaboutit.Ifwespeakupaboutitand
    givepeoplestatisticsthenthestigmawilldissipate.
