The minimum physical requirement of One Stop Centre (Pilot Project) in terms of total area is 300 sq

m and carpet area 132 sq.m with following structure:

Ground Floor
1. One room for Office of Administrator
2. One room for office/video Conferencing.
3. One room for counselor/Medical Consultant
4. one room to accommodate a ward with 5 beds where the women affected with violence
can be admitted,
5. Lobby, two Toilets, One Pantry Room, Stairs etc.
First Floor
1. Two Room accommodation for Administrator on First Floor
2. One Pantry Room, One Toilet, Stairs etc.

THE ABOVE DATA IS SET AS THE MINIMUM FOR THE PROPOSED 'PILOT PROJECT OF
RAPE CRISIS CENTRE', WHICH ONLY INCLUDES BASIC FACILITIES AND IS
CALCULATED KEEPING IN MIND THAT THIS CENTRE WILL BE OPENED ON
EXPERIMENT BASIS. SO THE ZONING IS VERY BASIC AND AREA PROPOSED HAS
BEEN KEPT MINIMAL IN TERMS OF SPACE. LATER ON GOVERNMENT WILL REVISE THE
AREA REQUIRMENT ACCORDING TO DEMAND OF RESPECTIVE DIRTRICT/CENTRE.

17. Lobby, Toilets, Dining, Corridors, Stairs etc.

Keeping the govt area requirement as standard, we can assume that we'll
need multiple times the area proposed by Govt, so as to be able to cater a
minimum of 200 women at a time in my centre. And if we include open
spaces in the requirement then the area requirement reaches decently to 2-3
acres of land.
