The City of Los Angeles is hosting

FR E E T I R E
RECYCLING!
Get rid of your used and old tires!
The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation will take and recycle your tires at SIX
collection events citywide.

Dates & Locations:


1. Saturday, May 1, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
East Valley District Yard, 11050 Pendleton Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352

2. Saturday, May 15, 2010 – 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.


West Valley District Yard, 8840 Vanalden Avenue, Northridge, CA 91324

3. Saturday, May 22, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


North Central District Yard, 452 N. San Fernando Road, Los Angeles, CA 90031

4. Saturday, June 5, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


South Los Angeles District Yard, 786 S. Mission Road, Los Angeles, CA 90023

5. Saturday, June 12, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


Harbor District Yard, 1400 N. Gaffey Street, San Pedro, CA 90731

6. Saturday, June 26, 2010 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.


West Los Angeles District Yard, 2027 Stoner Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025

Restrictions:
ƒ City of Los Angeles RESIDENTS ONLY - No tires from businesses
(To verify residency, bring your current DWP bill and California driver’s license.)
ƒ Limit of four (4) tires
ƒ Passenger and light truck tires only
ƒ Tires on rims will not be accepted

This program funded by a tire grant from CalRecycle.
