District ALS Coordinator- DALSC

Duties/Responsities
1.Planning
*Coordinates,participates in the planning development and
implementing Programs/Projects of ALS.
*Prepares performance targets, action plans and project
proposals.
2.Various Strategies
*Scouting learners, encourage learners in uplifting their
educational attainment through A&E.
3.Raise number of A&E passers.
4.Provide assistance to Mobile Teachers, community leaders,
social participation for ALS programs and Projects.
5.Technical assistance.
6.Conduct regularly learning sessions to two regular learning
groups in assigned area.

MOBILE

TEACHER

Duties/Resonsibilities

1.Conducts Advocacy and Social Mobilization Activities in

barangays, among government officials, NGO and academe.
2.Conducts Literacy Mapping , learning needs assessment.
3.Organize learning groups according to expressed and felt
needs of learners.
4.Holds learning sessions in an assigned area.
5.Does counseling services, monitor and evaluate learners
progress.
6.Keep and maintain updated records and reports.
7.Conducts simple action reseach on identified problems.
*Does basic functions 1-7
*Develops information, education communication materials.
*Adapts adopt curriculum materials relevant to needs in
the community.
*Prepares project proposals and fund searching.
*Implements projects proposals effectively.
*Provides technical assistance to co-Mobile Teacher
*Facilitate trainings
*Conducts networking and linkages
*Conducts research studies
