The assignment made me reflect on my family history, and I was able to analyze

and provide information about an ethnographic study of my family origin. This project
allowed me to research my family origin. I explained, my familys traditions and trends
within our history. I provided information about our beliefs, customs, and values.
Moreover, I demonstrated how my family history affected my upbringing and my views
on life. I enjoyed doing this assignment because it allowed me to gained detailed
knowledge of my family history, that I never explored before this project. I always was
able to self-reflect on my personal view and values. In doing this project it brought selfawareness of how I govern myself each day. I described how the traditions and customs
of my ancestors are still present in my family and myself. Also, I evaluated the
differences of change over generations. This project displayed my family history and
values which shaped my life and gave me great insight of things I need to work on to
become an effective social worker.
