Dear Ms.Pathy:
Opinion: Information Technology Acceptable Use Agreement
I am currently a grade 9 student at Middlefield. I have read the Information Technology
Acceptable Use Agreement and I think that all of the rules which are stated should be followed.
The reason is to why I think this is because it would keep you and others safe. After reading all
the rules I think that two of them should be recognize.
The rules which I think are the most important are Being respectful when writing
messages to anyone while using technology. Also Respecting others privacy and personal
information, including passwords. Some of the reasons to why I agree with these rules are
because it protects you and others around you while using technology, also because it keeps a
lot of people from getting in trouble which is also good for the school. Some other reasons to
why I agree with these is because some people might have some very personal information
which they wouldnt want to share with other people and if others start looking through their
personal things on others computers they can get into lots of trouble. Another reason to why I
agree with these rules is because when others get hold of your passwords they might do things
which are not right to do on the school computers which might end up getting you in trouble.
These are some of my opinions to why I agree to these rules Being respectful when writing
messages to anyone while using technology. Also Respecting others privacy and personal
information, including passwords. This is to help protect you and others
