PR ASSISTANT/ COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Researching, writing and distributing press releases to
targeted media.
Collating and analyzing media coverage.
Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions,
events, press tours and photo shoots and internal events.
Liaise with the media, i.e. respond to inquiries, arrange
interviews with journalists, new prepare and distribute releases.
Maintaining rapport with vendors and media partners to help
achieve challenging audience development and other
departmental targets.
To maintain a communication balance between the internal
audiences i.e. the organization's employee.
Handling administrative duties.
Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople.
Sending electronic mailers to the guest database.
Assist with building and maintaining relationships with both
local and national media.
Assist with building and maintaining press kits.
Assists with the distribution of client information/materials or
the firms marketing materials. Also ensures completeness and
accuracy of information and assists with the management of
destination lists. In addition conducts follow up when necessary.
