To Whom It May Concern:

The purpose of this letter is to speak to the strengths of Madison Grunow. I had the pleasure of working
with Madison as her English 104 professor at Ball State University in the Fall semester of 2015. I found
Madison to be an excellent student, standing out in numerous areas.

As her professor, I had the opportunity to observe Madisons participation and interaction within the
class and to evaluate her skills as a writer and presenter. Madison is an outstanding student in all
respects, taking her schoolwork seriously and participating in class discussions with comments that were
both thoughtful and insightful. I found her to be regularly prepared for class, possessing excellent
organizational skills and a positive attitude.

Perhaps Madisons greatest strength, in my opinion, is her diligence. She is more than willing to work
hard to finish a paper early so that I can look it over before the due date, or to follow up to be sure she
understands an assignment. Madisons strong work ethic is a rare quality that I believe will take her far
in life.

I have no doubt that Madison is well-equipped handle the challenges she meets in her future both as a
student and in her career. Please feel free to contact me via email regarding Madison as a scholar or a
potential employee at ljromano@bsu.edu.

Sincerely,

Dr. Laura J. Romano
