Chapter 15: Apply your knowledge (page 516)

1) Although I have not had previous work experience, I think that at every opportunity, one
is able to understand basic knowledge on how to treat the customer and learn the basic
strategies to start with a good performance.
2) Yes, would include this in my resume although it has no relationship to the position that I
am applying. Children with special needs require much skill and patience to his care. This
could also show of my good qualities such as sensitivity towards others, responsibility,
teamwork, work under pressure and confidence.
3) Yes, it could be used, but careful. More like detail, the skills you have to contribute to
that new job. Talk about who you are and not by experience.
4) Not to have a clear path of work, the disadvantage is unable to do a resume clear and
precise. It would be like not to know your audience exactly, and not knowing that
attribute or qualities would fit for that position specified. The option would be to make a
resume much more general, which does not attract much to the readers.
5) Yes, would include that work experience, although I was been dismissed. Opportunities
come and go, no one is born knowing, and we all make mistakes. However, I would not
lie or hide details in my resume, I prefer to be honest and admit mistakes, because the
truth always comes to light. I would be even more eager throw forward and learn to do a
better job.
Chapter 16: Apply your knowledge (page 549)
1) To distinguish me from other candidates first than anything, it would make a good act of
presence with my appearance, elegant and well dressed for the occasion. At the time of
my responses, I would always have a smile on my face showing sympathy and would use
a strong voice that stands out among others for show security.
2) I would prepare by doing research about the job or position for which I am applying. As
an alternate method, I would talk with some people related to the position, or expert that
gave a little more information about it. That way I will be prepared to questions and
situations that arise me in the interview.
3) ) If I lack during the first phase of the interview, if there is a second stage, with much
honesty and respect would directly seek the opportunity to return to the issue again and
mention what is necessary. If not given the timing, I will keep highlighting my qualities
as a person and add more things that I would do better if get the job.

4) Not to have any questions after the interview, in my opinion can happen two things: (1)
had an excellent participation by clarifying doubts in the process and the interviewer
think that you are clear in everything and you are the ideal candidate. (2) There was no
questions during the process and think that you are shy or you do not have much interest
in getting the job.
5) It is important to distinguish this type of question because sometimes give other or

unnecessary information may cause misunderstandings, discomfort, or preferences

among the candidates for the position.
