Camera man

Job description
The production planner will plan the entire video
from start to finish as well as doing the paperwork,
which includes the project breakdown and
storyboard.
The camera man will be responsible for filming the
video, bringing a suitable camera and making sure
the lighting and sound is correct.

Graphic designer

The graphic designer will create images for the use

in the video, these will be the logo for the video and
other images for use in the video.

Director

The director will be there for the filming of the video

and editing of it so they can direct the hole process
of filming to get the best result.

Editor

Actor

The editor is responsible for the editing of the film

and audio and adding them together at the correct
times to create the best possible video with what
was recoreded, as well as rendering out the final
video.
The actors job was to sit in the chair and have the
tattoo, I have chosen a specific subject for this
actor. I decidd to go with my mum for the actor
instead of my sister in terms of availibility and the
fact that my sister is not good with needles so she
would move and get up 2-3 times during the tattoo
making very hard to film the peices required.

Release date
The release date that I have decided to use for the video is in the summer
(august). This is because the London tattoo convention is in september and this
gives the production team of the convention time to add it into the convention and
plan time to play it on the monitor in the center of the room. Also TV programs
such as Tattoo fixers and Body Shockers are filmed around that time for the new
seasons also allowing them time to add it into the program before its aired.

Legal/Ethical issues
One issue that I have come across is the use of the shop within daytime hours. I
would have had to closed down the whole shop for 2 hours while the interview was
taking place, this would have caused issues with the income from the clients that
he could have within that time. To work around this, we paid for the tattoo so that
Rob wouldn't loose income for when we shut down his shop.
Another issue was that we had to guain
permission from both the tattoo artist and the actor to be filmed during the tattoo
process for the video. Both of them were fine to be filmed during the tattoo itself
but the tattoo artist was not ok with being filmed face to face with the camera due
to nerves. This was worked around by having the interview audio playing over the
video of the tattoo as well as pictures from aound his shop.
