This week the author continued practicing the song Villia, working on dynamics between louder and softer sections, particularly quietening high notes in head voice. They also practiced pentatonic scales on their own less reliant on the piano, though still needing occasional prompts when singing wrong notes.

This week I carried on my practise of Villia. The more I
practise this song the stronger it gets. Also the lyrics are quite difficult as they are lots of repetitions throughout but with slight variations. I have also been working on my dynamics. There is a quieter section in the middle of the song when I repeat the chorus. However, it is hard to soften and quieten notes that are so high in Im head voice so I have been practising this particular part of the song. This week I have also been working on pentatonic scales. I am getting better and relying less on the piano but I often still need prompts when I sing the wrong notes.
