Instructions to Candidates in Addition to Kaplan Regulations

(To be used in conjunction with Kaplan Examination Regulations)

Before the Commencement of the Examination

Only the necessary stationery (e.g. pens, pencils, rulers and calculators
as supplied by RHUL) for the purpose of the examination may be placed on
the candidates writing desk. All unauthorised books, reference materials,
handbags, pencil cases and other personal belongings including mobile
phones must be switched off and placed in the front or at the back of the
examination room.
Please note that we do not allow correction fluid during exams. Any mistakes
are to be crossed through.
6.
Students are expected to bring the calculator as provided by Royal
Holloway University with the approved sticker.
Kaplan Singapore WILL NOT provide calculators. Students are expected to
purchase a replacement to the correct make and model from the stationery
shop if they have forgotten to bring their own for the examination.

Dictionaries are not permitted in Royal Holloway University
examinations
During the Examination
1.
Students are not allowed to leave the examination room during the first
30 minutes or the last 30 minutes of the examination.
7.
All rough work must be done in the examination booklet and then
crossed through. Rough work will not be marked.
