2010 County Convention Notice Form

Notice Requirements:
According to the Nebraska State Statute § 32-707.

1. The county convention “shall be held in the courthouse or other suitable place at the
county seat any time during the first ten days in June following the statewide primary
election at an hour and place to be designated by the chairperson of the county central
committee of a political party.”

2. The county chairman “shall cause to be published, at least fifteen days prior to the date
of the county post primary convention, and official notice of the date, time, and
place of the convention in at least one newspaper of general circulation within the
county.” The county party will take on all costs associated with the publication
of the notice.

Please complete the form and return it to NEGOP Headquarters by Friday,

May 28th, 2010 with an attached clipping or copy of the published
newspaper announcement.
