Dear Dr. Matthias Zilbauer,
After moving to Hong Kong from Canada, I am glad to know that you are looking for a medical
surgeon. I believe that I am suitable for the job as I have a lot of experience and skills.
As I have worked for plenty of hospitals in Canada, I am very confident with the procedures, and
I understand what leads to a successful surgery. When I was supporting a surgeon operating a
facial bone contouring surgery at Royal Victoria Hospital in 2014, the surgeon made a mistake
and the patient was bleeding excessively. I instantly did hemostasis and sew the blood vessels
up, which was a success. It helped me develop a skill which is coping with emergency situation
and thinking at the spot.
When I was a university student, I also completed pharmacology and biochemistry with sky high
grades. I have a wide range of knowledge in medicine and therapeutics, which will aid therapy
and medicine to patients. In addition, I am a native English speaker as well as communicate in
Chinese at times of need which is my second language. I am sure that I can communicate well
with various patients without any difficulty. Moreover, as an ambivert, I have a very active
personality, Ive naturally gained communication skills since childhood. These three skills will
help me complete further tasks other than that of a surgeon.
In conclusion, a surgeon needs an accurate understanding of a patients demand and finish
product. I believe that I am clearly able to do the work based on my 8 years of surgical
experiences in hospitals and clinics. I would like to have meetings and discuss about your clinic
and myself. I appreciate your consideration of my position, and I will thankfully receive the job if
