Classroom Materials

Period Seven
The beginning of the third quarter, the
schedule have been changed.The school start
in the morning and end at 4 oclock.
During the seven period,

the MUIDS

students are allow to join club. The students

also have an opportunity not to join the club
and go do homework at the library. Each
teacher are in charge of teaching the students
that join club. For example, the yoga club.
Mr.Dan, Ms.Tara and Ms.J are in charge of
teaching Yoga on Thursday.

Prepare For Sports

Day

The student government have announced to

all tenth graders to come and choose houses at
the seminar room on February 26, 2016. There
are four different houses such as red, yellow,
green, and blue. After, they have separated
each individual students into different houses,
they have an opportunity to get ready to
organise the Sport Day.
There are many factor that caused the Sport
Day to get rescheduled such as the limited
amount of the school days, election of the
student government and changing school start
and end times. According to last years tenth
graders, the Sport Day start earlier in October.
The teacher are in charge of helping the
students to prepare but compare to this
years.The school let the students from each
grade choose one substitute to join the student
government and in charge of some school
activities.

According to the survey, more than half of

the students are the member of the club. Most
of the students feel very interesting and
educational.

Since the beginning of the semester, some

students and teachers have a problem about
ordering school materials. Some students
have to spend their own money to buy school
materials. To prevent this from happening,
Ms.Benchaporn Srimeechai (Ploy),
Procurement officer explain the ways in getting
school materials from MUIDS instead of letting
students spend their own money.

An Anniversary 10 Years

Book Fair

Mahidol University had an opening Book

Fair at Phayathai. During, February 8-11, 2016
Book Fair 10 years anniversary.
Mahidol University have allow many book
shops to come and sell book to different
generations. There are many kind of books
such as the educational books, adventure
books, cooking books, cartoon and etc.
According from the survey on Mahidol
University web pages, students in elementary,
high school and under graduate students that
go to the Book Fair feel really interesting and
enjoy.

First, the teachers need to talk talk to the Head

Department about the budget for the project
before ordering the students. Then, the Head
Department will sign the paper and give to the
person that in charge of the money to sign.
After that, Ms.Benchaporn will go buy the
materials.
In some cases, some teachers order their
students to buy materials to decorate boards.
They also ordering them to keep changing the
board overtime that they start a new topic.

Student Government

After the interview, Mr.Randy and Prim

Janjarussakul (one of the student
government) said that our school times
this year are even longer, but there are
many changes in the schedule. The new
activities and more holidays are coming
up. So, some of the teachers and student
government need more time to prepare
more activities.

Since the beginning of the third semester,

there is one representative from each grade
that volunteer to become part of the student
government. There are three main political
parties The Penta, Smarties and Endeavour.
The election happened on the first floor at
MUIDS.
The winning political party that received the
highest votes are The Penta. The reason that
make this political party won the election from
MUIDS students are their policies. Some of
The Pentas policies are certificate of merit
that will be provided for all those outstanding
MUIDS students, Sport Day, MUIDS official line
for announcement news, and DJ.

All of these policies will help to improve MUIDS

to become the better school in some ways.
The election started in February 12,2016
during the lunch time. Each student are allow to
choose only one political party. The school use
Google Doc as the program for vote.

Natdanai Tachahamonsuk, Pop.

He is 15 years old. His
birthday was July 7, 2000.
He was born in Bangkok,
Thailand. He is the only
child.

He studied at Lertlah,
Darunsikkhalai School For
Innovative Learning (DSIL)
before came to study at
Mahidol University
International Demonstration
School (MUIDS). Before, Pop
Natdanai gets an opportunity
study at Mahidol University
International Demonstration
School (MUIDS).
He is a person that very like
to play the online games. He
spends almost all of the
money he has to buy the game
tickets. Every time that he
did this, his mother got very
angry and shout at him.
But,Pop never listens or
cares anything that his
mother tells him.

Then, he realises that one

of his high school seniors
become successful in life
when he stops playing too
much online games. Pop gets
his inspiration from his
senior. This make lots of
changes. Then, he realises
that one of the high school
senior at his old. Which make
Pop find himself out that he
has a high skill of taking
photos. So, he stops playing
online games and focus on
learning and taking photos.
In the future, Pop Natdanai
wants to become a doctor. He
likes to help sick people.
Also, he wants his parents to
be proud of their child.

Song-Kran Festival Playing In Bangkok

In April 13-15, 2016 or Song-Kran
Days, their are many different places in
Bangkok that allow the teenagers to go
play Song-Kran.
Song-Kran Days is one of the Thailand
traditional days for Thai people and some
foreigners. Many different places in

The activities will splashing water,

going to the temple, pray, meet
the family out of town, stay with
family and etc. This kind of
activities will help to keep Thailand
traditional to stay longer.
