Median Family Income Trends

As you requested, I have analyzed the trends for median family income in the United
States for the years 1972-1987. Below you will find a graph that represents the trends
over this time period for three racial/ethnic groups. As you can clearly see, White
families in the United States have significantly higher median incomes over the 15 years
studied when compared to Black and Hispanic American families. If anything, this gap
slightly widened towards the end of this period. If you have any additional questions
about this issue, please let me know.
