Abstract: Jack-up platform is introduced the establishment of mooring system model and the basic principle
of analysis, and applied Hydrodynamic Diffraction and Hydrodynamic Time Response module of ANSYS
workbench platform, with mooring positioning system of a jack-up platform as an example, numerical simulation
and analysis, then get the dynamic Response of the platform. Study on the extreme conditions in wind, wave, flow
combined load is given, the response analysis in the time domain coupled state of motion platform and mooring lines
under the mooring lines, mooring force and displacement time history curve of the platform are obtained. Through
the analysis of jack-up platform mooring positioning operation area has a certain practical application value.
Key words: Self-elevating platform; Motion Response; Mooring system; Mooring force
