The ICC algorithm is used on resonance earth. The principle of the ICC
algorithm can also be used with networks with directly earthed and
impedance-earthed neutral, if the value of the capacitive currents is
significant relative to the value
of the earth fault current.
Permanent phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth faults: tripping threshold
confirmed by an acknowledge time and network loss
Fault validation by network loss from the load current
Easergy Flair 200C is also available without the fault detection option.

Easergy Flair 200C offers full access to all status and measurement
information and the controls of connected devices.
They are treated as an internal variable on which specific processing operations can be performed: archiving, monitoring,

The Flair 200C is fitted with various devices allowing to perform specific
tailored functions or applications:
Calculation formulas available as a standard feature in the equipment.
An IEC 61131-3 programmable logic controller available as an option, and including a RTU control programming workshop
and a possible communication between equipment.
EM100043EN
Calculation formulas
The calculation formulas are available as a standard feature in the Flair
200C.They can be used in the Flair 200C to create relatively simple logic
equations not requiring a programme to be written in PLC language.
Example
Typical applications that can be created with
the calculation formulas:
Calculation of analogue values to
determine averages, alarms or any other
calculation based on variables.
Combinations of variables, such as:
-- Combining phase and neutral faults
rather than indicating them separately
-- Defining a synthesis of internal faults
-- Managing other equipment of the MV
substation such as the light control,
etc.
Use of a Digital Output (DO) for external
indication of earth fault and/or phase fault
presence.
schneider-electric.com13
The existing variables of the Flair 200C that can be used in the
programmes are: TSD, TSS, TM, TSL, DI, DO.
Virtual variables can also be created for the PLC programmes. They can
also be type: DI, DO, DDI, DDO, AI, AO.
EM100042EN
Optionally, the Flair 200C can incorporate the IEC 61131-3 programmable logic controller. This allows the user to create
specific tailored client applications.
Instruction List
The platforms programme can be loaded onto the equipment and then
checked via the Flair 200C Web server.

SCADA
Communication networks:
GSM/GPRS, Ethernet, PSTN, Radio...
or Ethernet
(1) Master-Master: this option is used to limit exchanges with non-permanent transmission media (Radio, GSM, GPRS, PSTN). A device
speaks only when it has something to say. On the other hand, the SCADA no longer controls the data flow and collisions between messages
can occur when several devices take control to speak at the same time. Easergy Flair 200C includes collision avoidance algorithms to deal
with this problem.
(2) In GPRS, the protocols manage the Permanent or Semi-permanent transmission mode. The Modbus TCP/IP and DNP IP protocols can
also manage the transmission mode Non permanent serving to limit data flows.

Updating of software versions or change of protocol by downloading from
a PC.
Two software versions are saved. It is possible to switch between the two
versions.
Analysis of system Event Log file:
-- Storage of transmission events (to determine the origin of a
recurring communication fault)
-- Indication of transmission errors (CRC error, collisions, PSTN line
out of order, switchover to redundancy, etc.)
-- Indication of system events (start-up, resetting, change of
configuration, etc.).
