support website
Cambridge Secondary 1 teachers have access to a comprehensive website of resources to
support their teaching.
These have been developed by our
subject experts in conjunction with

There are two types of user of


the Cambridge Secondary 1 website
an administrator and teacher.

Cambridge Secondary 1 teacher

When your school registered with


us, the Cambridge administrator
within the school was sent a
password for access to the
Cambridge Secondary 1 website.

This user is the highest level user


for the site. They are commonly
the head teacher or another senior
member of staff within a school.

This user type is set up by the


Secondary 1 website administrator.
Teachers are responsible for
maintaining the details of the
students in their classes and also for
entering test marks into the site for
analysis.

there are different administration
permissions.

Getting started
Logging in
Each user has a unique name
and password. Individual class
teacher access is set up by the
Cambridge Secondary 1 website
administrator. The website usernames
and passwords are unique and
confidential. Please do not share
them with others as this may
compromise the details of learners.
If you enter an incorrect username
and/or password, an error message
will appear, prompting you to retry.
If you have forgotten your password,
the Login screen has a facility for you
to have a reminder of your password
emailed to you. For this you will have
to enter your username.
To log into the site:

cie.org.uk into your browser and
then click your browsers go (or the
return key) to search for the site

classes. When this has been done you

This is where you can see and

Logging out
At any time during your session,
you can log out of the Cambridge
Secondary 1 website. Use the logout
link as this will close your connection
securely and stop other users of
your computer from accessing your
account. Once you click logout, there
will be a message confirming that
logout has happened.

Support for schools teaching the Cambridge Secondary 1 English
as a Second Language (E2L) curriculum is available on a dedicated
website from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations
(Cambridge ESOL).

Teacher Guide
English as a Second Language

The E2L curriculum has been developed to give additional support


to Secondary 1 school learners to help them in their study of other
curriculum subjects where they are not first-language English speakers.
Cambridge ESOL has developed a comprehensive Teacher Guide
and also Cambridge Progression Tests for stages 79. To access
the guide and tests, please contact our Customer Services team
