Molecular biology: FINAL EXAM

Dear Students!
Final Exam in Molecular Biology will take place on January 26 th 2009, classroom
6th (the same, where we met during semester).
HMI STUDENTS:
Exam start 10 a.m. (Sharp!) ends at 11 a.m.

Taiwanese STUDENTS:
Exam start 11.15 a.m. (Sharp!) ends at 12.15 p.m.

All students are obligated to bring Students ID and Students Index Book on
Final Exam Day!

Topics included into Final exam:

1) DNA structure and replication
2) Central dogma in molecular biology, translation and posttranslational
modifications
3) Cell death apoptosis and necrosis
4) Operon theory in regulation of gene expression
5) Mutations, cancer, metastasis
6) PCR, restriction enzymes and DNA fingerprinting
7) Transgenic organisms
8) Gene therapy and nucleic acids as drugs
9) Monoclonal antibodies and exo- and endogenous antigens elimination
(Introduction to immunology serves as supplementary material to this
topic)
Exam will have a form of multiple choice test option with one correct answer.
