4.1 Cardiotropin-1
Cardiotrophin-1 (CT-1) is a growth factor for that have capability to repair
cardiac muscle. This research a study to know if CT-1 can be used as biomarker for
detection of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (LVH).

Table 1 shows that CT-1 level in LVH group are higher than in non-LVH group
generally, but from minimum and maximum CT-1 level in non-LVH group that are
ranged in the same range of LVH group has (even smaller) it can not be concluded
that CT-1 level always higher in LVH group than non-LVH group
4.2 Correlation between CT-1 and LVMI
To see is there any correlation between CT-1 and LVH, data are showed in table 2
below

It shows that correlation coefficient is 0,17 that means the correlation is very
bad. It can be concluded that CT-1 level has no correlation with LVH

4.3 LVH detetion based on CT-1

Picture 1 shows sensitivity dan specificity of CT-1 level as detector of LVH

CT-1 level curve position is below 50% curve, it is 45% that means CT-1 can
not be used to detect LVH.
