‘To Whom It May Concern:
1 am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Julie Blake, as she
pursues an Elementary Teaching position, within our district.
During this past school year Ms. Blake was a substitute teacher (Special
Education Inclusion) in our Kindergarten classroom. Although her experience in
this setting was brief (two weeks), her readiness and effectiveness were
immediately noticeable. Some of Ms. Blake's responsibilities included providing
continuous instructional support for our classified students, implementing their
modifications and delivering the daily mathematics lesson. She is to be commended
for preparedness upon entering the classroom on her first day. Her confidence and
classroom management style were clearly evident, and this assisted her in being
recognized as one of the instructional leaders within our classroom setting.
Although Ms. Blake's time with us was short, I was able to observe many fine
qualities and attributes. Her level of commitment to our students was very high. A
fine, diligent work ethic was most noticeable. Her rapport with all of the children, as
well as her ease in connecting with the children, was apparent from the beginning.
Ms. Blake also demonstrated a sense of inquiry as it pertained to the existing
curriculum standards and the strategies used to best implement the instruction.
In conclusion, | believe this instructional experience, the aforementioned
attributes and her overall desire to further develop into a quality teacher, will serve
her well as she pursues a career as an educator. | am most confident that Ms. Blake
will be a positive addition to the professional staff of our admirable Gloucester City
School District.
Sincerely,
1. haste hot
